Every year in my school there is an athletic meet. That is why it was there this year. Of course it means one week of no studies but it also means complete boredom. The entire day you have only maximum two events each maybe of 15 minutes or sometimes someone is breaking a record or coming first is when you have some excitement. Also when the scores are announced there is little gaiety. The rest of the time you are thinking what-would-happen-if-someone-fainted-type-of-thing. It is a funny thing. when there is something boring the time drags on and on and on. And if something fun happens POOF it goes away like it never happened.

The Last Ray
When the sun sets
And the fishermen take up their nets
The last ray
I say
Is not the last one at all
Because when it takes it fall
It rises in another hemisphere
The same atmosphere
When darkness comes
Light runs
To take its place
It wins the race
Never fear
Darkness is in the rear
Though late for some
It will surely come

Half Man-Half Child
Well, as most of you know a teenager is a weird creature. I know as I am one. A teenager is confused himself what he is man or child and the world never understands that. Sometimes they say he is acting like a child and otherwise they say he is assuming himself to be an adult. It depends on the occasion. His actions are judged on under the categories of adult or child. When this happens it is termed under the category teenager much to the dismay of many teenagers. When it comes to my opinion I say we form a different category half man-half child. Personally I like to be a child. It always helps to be a child in your decisions. It helps you in life too. All great people were children in their hearts.

War
War
Its bitter and its sour
it will take its toll
blood down the hall
the street, the highway
No way you can get away
from June to May
The world will pay
and say
when will it end
this bloody trend

If I Ruled The World
If I ruled the world,
There would be no oppression
No transgression
People would have no pressure
Time at their leisure
If I ruled the world
There would be no greed
Happiness would be every ones creed
There would be everything you would need
If I ruled the world
There would be no confrontation
No irritation
No misinterpretation
Every one would be every one's relation
If I ruled the world
End of every crook
Happiness would be like a running brook
It wouldn't end
If I ruled the world
There would be only happiness to reminisce
Every where would be every one's premises
As proposed by god
The almighty lord
If I ruled the world
No one would take the lead
Everyplace would be inviting
Like mulled mead
Cold won't be biting
No one would be least
Forest's won't be burning
Every night would be a feast
With lots of learning
If I ruled the world
