Me n' Me!!!
I love songs. I really like rock, istrumental, classic, inspirational, old, new, sad, ...........well, all types of songs. I am listening to a song right now while writing this boring blog. I also like books, as mentioned before in three or four of my earlier blogs. I like books of mystry, comedy, fairy tales ( I am a real softy for these things) fun, fictional, non -fictional, science...........well, all types of books. Except sad books, they make me dead depressed! Now, I am not going to tell you that I am not reading a book while writing this because I am not. I hate movies. They waste three hours of my precious time. Why doesn't someone else goes and see the movie and tell me the story? I am crazy for sweets! I really like them. If someone is so kind as to send a truckload of sweets. I will finish them and still want more ( Don't send me a truck of sweets or my poor teeth will fall out ). My home sweet home is with my family.
Lets talk about my character! ( ah! my favourite talk !). Well I am funny, hhmm and more funny and irritating if I want to be. I can also be very sweet if I feel like it. If you see me in the world I am a common child. But if you see me from the point of the blog you may find me really cool which I am not. I may look cool because I frame myself that way!
Whew! enough for today. My mom is shouting at me to come and study. I have revised this blog many times and am proud to say that I not maken a single misdake! Ok untill next time then!

Our Principal
One of the most admirable profiles I have ever met is our school principal, Dr Harish Dhillion. He is of a great age but still has a lot of energy. He is very frank. On the day of our of interhouse play competition he told us some interesting stories. The most funny story he told us was when he was around 30. He had a part in a play in which he had to kiss someone behind the newspaper. The director told him to hold his fist against his lips and make a loud smooching sound. When he reached this part of the play and made the sound his little kid shouted " Wwwwaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh ! mae ghar ja ke mummy ko bataoun ga!!

para gliding ( manali files )
On the second day of our visit we decided to go for para gliding. One of my father’s friend took us to a very nice restaurant which had a terrific view of a valley which had loads of paddy fields. Near the paddy fields was our landing place. We had to go to a very high place to take off. We went most of the part on car with five professionals. Mom and dad were not coming with us. They did not want to do para gliding although mom remained undecided for some time. We covered a little part by trekking. We reached the take off point.
It was as wide as a paddy field except that it was about 5000 feet above the valley. The view was very good. I could not believe that we had to jump from such a height. The weather conditions were clear. It was decided that I had to go first. I was excited that I had to go first though I had thought that I was to jump the last. When I was all safely strapped along with with one professional who was to pilot the paraglider, I looked like a legionary and felt like one as well because the the equipment was so heavy. I did not feel scared at all because I was told that it was all very safe and secured. Two people were holding me and the pilot so that they could hoist us up in the air We started running; my feet were off the ground and whoosh!
We were in the air! I later saw in a video that the men who hoisted us in the air were unbalanced and they went a little way down the mountain and then recovered themselves. It was a very funny scene
The view was terrific. It was a birds eye view. Just then a bird flew right in front of me. I wished that I had brought my binoculars. The view was better than an airplane’s because it was open on all sides and we could feel the force of winds. I was feeling very excited because it was the first time I was flying in the air. When we passed over the restaurant my mother and father were just 2 black specks The man with me was pretty good. He had been at this job for about 11 years. After a while he started talking on the mobile phone. After about fifteen minutes he told me to hold tight and straighten my legs because we were about to land. We started to lose height and after some time we touched the ground and then a huge bump and then it was all over.
Shortly after I landed one of my brothers also landed. The only problem was that he did not land in the middle of the field where I had landed. He landed in a bush near the edge of the field. After some time my second brother also landed. He landed a little too early and went straight into a lot of bushes and tall grass. It was altogether a great experience.
river rafting ( Manali Files)
We started with enthusiasm after listening carefully to the instructions given by the professionals who organized our ride. They told us how to hold the rescue boat in case any one of us tumbled over. We were told not to climb over the rescue boat if it had turned turtle because in that case the rescuer would be himself under the water. They also told us not to worry as it was normal to tumble over and there would be a rescuer at hand to put you back on the raft.
We got wet right in the beginning itself. After about after two hundred meters of peaceful and calm rafting came the rough rapids. We had two trained professionals with us as well. One of them was on a kiekie.
A kiekie is a special mini boat which travels along the raft and rushes to people who had fallen off the raft. SPLASH!! Up went the water and right on us! And this repeated again and again. After a few minutes the water calmed down again. The scene was beautiful. Only water and greenery wherever you cast your eyes. And then the rapids started again. SPLASH, SPLASH , SPLASH and then the biggest splash of all accompanied with a yell. My eldest brother had fallen into the water! In a split second he vanished and all we could see was his two feet above the water with just one slipper. My mother was stunned and scared whereas the others were looking at the slippers which had slid of my brothers feet and into the water. We were not the least scared about my brother because we were confident that the kiekie would rescue him. My father was shouting “Stop bothering about the slippers and start looking for him”.
It is really difficult to swim with a lifejacket and doubly difficult if you are in fast flowing water. The rescuer caught my brother and sent him on the raft. We all felt very relieved. Then the water calmed down again and then rapids again and so on. This went on for about thirteen more kilometers. But with (thankfully) no more people thrown overboard!!
.I am looking forward to more difficult river rafting experiences in the future.

`The Waterfalls ( Manali Files )
I with my family had gone to manali during the holidays. We had a lot of adventures there and I am going to write about one of them now.
We were going to the dogra falls to spend the day there. Till that day I had only heard about it and now I was going there. we had another family with us going to the same place. Johgni falls are at a very great hieght and you have to trek some distance to get till there. We started at about eleven .
The path was very steep and tiring. But it was equally beautiful and magestic. not many people went to the dogra falls so the path was lonley and clean. We occasionally spotted a cow or two. We found a spring which had so clear water that you want to keep drinking it.
we finally reached our destination and o boy!!!, what a place that was. It was more splendid and magnicifent than any thing I had seen till that time. the water fell from about a 60 feet high cliff. the spray of the water could soak you completly even if you are standing 40 feet away from it
Me and my brothers crossed the raging stream and went right behind the water fall. It felt very strange. it was almost as if i was in a dream .the place was very wet and slippery. we finally crossed the back of the waterfall and and flopped down on the hot rocks and waited to be dried up by the heat of the sun .we had our lunch there only and after staying there for about an hour we turned our backs to the waterfalls to go back to our cars. I cannot forget this adventure throughout my whole life

The Ghost Who Was Frightend
Andrew the ghost was scared. Ghost busters were trying to catch him. He ran through the wall to find himself in a room full of ghost busters. He dodged the holy water which the ghost busters were trying to sprinkle at him. He tried not to smell the the garlic which the ghost busters were using to ward him off.
Andrew ran through one room after another and then finally came to a rest in the store room. When he turned he saw that priests were chanting mantras at him . He flew right through the roof and saw using the power of x-ray in his eyes that the house was swarming with ghost busters he finally decided that he will have to leave his haunting place and find another place . He went away sorrowfully

Mr. Ratan ( Dharampur files )
Hhhhmmmm . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . quite a simple, nice man. Very hardworking. He lives in a village over three kilometers away. He is almost an all-rounder. I mean that he could do almost all things. He could whitewash, take care of the garden, grow vegetables and fruits, look after the cattle and the house etc. One day he was whitewashing the bathroom and I decided to help him a bit. I was very happy to hold the brush for the first time. I dipped the brush in the white paint and waved the brush in the air and PLOP,PLOP. ...
One drop of the paint landed on my hair and the other on my nose. I was not feeling so happy then. We whitewashed for sometime and then I stopped and went in another room to read a book. Ten minutes went by. Twenty minutes went by and then WHAM,BOOM,CRASH !! I rushed to the bathroom and saw a demoralizing sight. Ratan was painting the roof of the bathroom by using a ladder when the ladder slipped and Ratan fell on to the floor and the ladder fell on the toilet and smashed it to smitherines. He escaped with only minor injuries. In all that hullaballu my aunt arrived. She asked Ratan what had happened. She was very concerned and upset about the whole affair. After sometime my aunt commented " gira Ratan hai par sar dard mera ho raha hai. Well, next time when I go to Dharampur I will look forward to going to Ratan's village.

The Creation Of The Bow ( Dharampur files )
I was always interested in swords and bows and axes and things like that.I decided to make a sword and a bow complete arrows . The sword was easy enough, I only took a stick and shapened it a bit. The bow troubled me for over three days! It looks like a piece of cake but it is not. First you have to find the perfect curved stick and then you have to tie a thick string at the ends of the stick . But the confounded string will not tie ! It will keep loosening and untying . It is really frustating . Once you finally manage to tie it properly you have to find arrows for it . Once you manage to find those and the bow starts working the arrows start to fly all over the place and you start losing them . When you are able to control your aim the string loosens and you have to tie it again . You will get frustated sometime.

A Trek With The School : Part 2( narkhanda files )
I myself never cried or went down in the dumps due to the absence of my parents though I missed them as well . But some of my friends are quite the opposite . Even at the mention of parents they became gloomy . I merely laughed at them . I know that's a cruel thing to do but still , it is a little babyish for me because I go on to the theory that if you go sad now , how will you survive when you go out to study or do a job or something like that . This is what I told my friends . I sometimes told them this harshly and sometimes gently , though I never found what they understood . Well, I know they thought (and still do ) that I was mad but belive me , I am not mad . I always like to think about the future because you must be ready for everything that is about to come . One child was crying , saying that he had fallen in a ditch and hurt himself though I know that he was remembering his parents because I was with him all the day and I know that he did not even fall anywhere . One child kept on saying "only 3 days left" and on the second last day "Only one day left , only one day left" I felt really angry with him although I do not know why .

A Trek With the school : part 1 ( Dharampur files )
We went to Narkhanda . On the second day we went to rappling , that is desending or going down from a slope in a faster and less - energy consuming way by using a rope. It is really complicated to explain . you have to hold one rope tight to stop or let it loose to move down. the other one is for support. I was first to go . I did not know which part was dangerous and where were the sliping area .I started to decend casually, carefully. Then my foot slipped. I held the rope tight and stopped. I thought it was easy but it isn't! Then I understood the trick. First I felt where was the rock and then let go of the rope. I slithered down . Then I felt it was too easy for words . I jumped down perfectly . I jumped again and found that I had done it . I walked back towards my friends who started clapping . Later my instructor told me that I was the best . I was very pleased.

A Trip To The Hills ( Dharampur files )
A trek in the hills can be as fun as it is tiring.I experienced it when I and my brother went to the hills in the Himalyas. Its magestic and mysterious look is really stunning .One feels as if he is in a dream.
We started our trek by marching to the nearest climbable hill and then scrambled up.We first saw an old shephard. His teeth were yellow (the ones which were left!! ).He looked as if he was a hundred years old.All his sheep were white except one which was black and looked equally as old as its master.
Then we saw a goat which kept staring at me.I stared back. After a really hard staring match the goat accepted deafeat and went away.I felt really satisfied that I had won as we went on.
The next thing we saw was an ancient shrine.I cannot say how old it was but I can assure you it was not tended for about 75 years or so, as it was half buried.
Next there were some huge rocks. Thet would block the road for months if they fell. They were settled dangerously at the extreme edge. There was something inscribed on the biggest rock which looked like sanskrit.
When we reached the top of the hill the stupid goat was already there. Then I realized that the goat had won,not me.The goat had won humbly and gracefully. At that moment I felt a great respect for the goat and the animal kingdom. My brother offered the goat some green grass which the goat accepted. Then we sat there for an hour looking at the magistic Himalyas. The sun was hiding behind a hill and it looked magnificient.
By the time we got back to our staying place the sky was blood red.I went to bed trying to think about our adventures, but I was not able to as I was half-asleep on my feet!!!
Hey!
Hope You Like It
